Quarryman's Brake Van No 2
Originally built about 1885/6 as a Mk. 3 quarrymen's carriage, this vehicle was converted to a brake van at Boston Lodge Works about 1908 and fitted with a single balcony. It was said to have been converted specifically to work with trains to and from Brookes Quarry. As with all of our other kits all castings, buffers, axleboxes and all steel wheel; sets are included. This range has been developed to partner Roundhouse size locomotives and have been scaled Accordingly
